2 Funny Stories

Two funny stories I wanted to share:

1. Cal and I like to dance to tunes while driving. I'll wave my arms around, he'll wave his arms around. This weekend I started clapping to the beat. He tried to clap. I then started snapping. I turn around in my seat to watch his reaction and there he is rubbing his little fingers together trying to snap. (Imagine the gesture you make when trying to convey "money" - first two fingers, thumb). It was the cutest thing - I laughed out loud. He smiled and started waving his arms.

2. When Cal was three months old, we participated in a series of baby sign language classes with some neighborhood moms. I know Cal was way too young at the time, but all the other babes were older and I figured it was more for me than him. I've been signing key words ever since and while I know Cal understands what I'm communicating, up until YESTERDAY he had yet to sign back. But last night we were sitting at the Cheesecake Factory and all of a sudden he puts his little hands together and signs "more"! I screamed. Alan laughed and Cal had the biggest grin on his face. I happily handed over more quesadilla.

Great stories!!! I've been signing to Jacoby but with seemingly no reaction, so I've been lazy about it. Cal has given me new hope! Nice work Cal :)
