Cal's Weekend Away

Alan and I came down with a very bad virus this past week and spent the weekend deathly ill in bed. Cal escaped to Vancouver and spent a fun-filled weekend with Amy, Papo and Grammy visiting the park, cruising the aisles of Fred Meyer, eating guacamole, and riding his bike. We missed him terribly - it was the longest I've been away from him - but he didn't even know we weren't around. That must be the sign of a good time! In six days I leave for New York and will miss my baby for the 4 days I'm gone. Hope this weekend's "practice" will make next week easier on us both...
