Little Ben

We've spent the first few days of Ben's life quietly adjusting at home. Some milestones and things heard around our home lately include:

• Ben loves to sleep, which is drastically different than what we remember of Cal. He's starting to be more alert for longer stretches of time, but still will snooze for up to 4+ hours
  
• Cal only calls him "Baby Ben" or "Baby Brother"
• "He likes me, Mommy! He likes me!" -- Cal
  
• Cal is anxious to help with Baby Ben - getting his pacifier, holding his bottle, tucking his blanket in, asking to hold him, patting his head, etc. This a.m. I came out of the shower to Cal showing me how Baby Ben likes the ball Cal placed next to Ben in the swing.
• "Do you want your bippy, Baby Ben? Here you go, Baby Ben." -- Cal, as he tries to place Ben's pacifier in his fist
• Ben can hold his head up for short stretches
• Ben first smiled on Tue, 8/24
• His eyelashes are growing in
• Nicknames: Benny, Bennis, Benners, Nugget, Bug
