A Day in the Life

When Cal was a baby, I recorded what our average day was like in 15 min. increments. I thought I'd do it again to see what has changed. Not much, but I do feel a sense of acheivement with the amount of things we do and get done. Below is a break-out of our Monday on Nov. 8, 2010.

7:20 a.m. -- Mom wakes up to Cal turning on lights; Ben starts to squirm. M changes B. D changes C. M feeds B. C runs rampant and attempts to go downstairs.
8 - 9 a.m. -- Shower while C watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. B hangs in baby seat. D gets ready for work and is out the door. M feeds C and self breakfast. Puts load of laundry in to wash. Clean up toys.
9 - 10:30 a.m. B naps, while M and C play cars and monkeys in the tent. Continue laundry. Cook veggies for casserole dinner prep. Unload dishwasher.
10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Load everyone into car for trip to Target. M applies makeup in driveway. Target = success. Make impromptu stop for "treat" at location not to be named. C covered in chocolate. Wipe hands and face in parking lot of Blockbuster, where we pick C two videos for the week. Head home.
Noon - 1:30 p.m. Change B and C diapers. Feed B. Make lunch for C, while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Cook rice for dinner casserole.
1:30 - 2:45 p.m. C and B asleep! M checks email, orders C's 3rd birthday party supplies. Cleans kitchen. Assembles dinner casserole. Load of laundry. Contemplates glass of wine. Has Crystal Light instead.
2:45 p.m. C wakes up, as does B. M feeds B after changing C's and B's diapers.
3:30 p.m. Jessica the babysitter arrives! M runs errand to Marshalls and goes to gym.
5:30 p.m. M returns home. B said "no" to bottle, so M feeds B. Worry about B not taking bottle. Changes B's diaper. Puts dinner into oven. Plays dump trucks with C.
6 p.m. D arrives home. M bounces B, while making salad. Mike arrives for dinner, wine is poured.
7 - 8 p.m. M changes B, puts on jammies and feeds B. D and C watch movie and play, get jammies on.
8 p.m. M bounces B, who won't go to sleep.
9 p.m. Finally! Both kids are asleep. Do dishes. M and D watch TV. Nothing on, so...
10 p.m. Lights out until B wakes M at 1ish for first feeding...
