Overheard with Cal

- "In the winter, I rub lotion on my belly and take my shirt off. I leave my pants on to stay warm."

- "Mommy next Christmas I want to be Darth Maul. I like him and Darth Vadar, Luke Skywalker, Free P-O, R2, Aniken and Leah. Darth Maul and Darth Vadar are bad."

- "Mommy, are you available (pronounced 'abailable') to join us?" (an invitation to do a puzzle with Alan and Cal)

- "You're not my friend anymore." (When he doesn't get his way. My response? "Good. I'm your Mommy and that's more important than being your friend.")

- Mommy: "Aunt Heather and Jerry are getting married."
Cal: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because they love each other. One day you'll find a girl you love so much, you'll want to marry her."
Cal: "Can I marry you?" (Silent gasp! My heart melted...)
Mommy: "I love you too bud."

- "My tummy hurts. I need some ice cream or a cookie to make it feel better."
