Elmo Live!

Saturday saw us at Memorial Collesium for "Elmo and Friends." We sat in the 5th row -- probably the closest I will EVER sit at any concert/play/show. (Beating even the 11th row at Debbie Gibson). Cal sat quietly on Alan's lap most of the show, taking it all in. He clapped, waved and when instructed by E&F, covered his eyes to "Imagine." Two hours, four over-stimulated adults and one $10 Elmo balloon later, we went to lunch where Cal saved his wiggling, impatience and whining for. I attribute much to his personality (he tends to take things in quietly in new situations) but I did try and prep Cal days ahead of our outing by asking questions about Elmo's friends and letting him know we were going to go see Elmo with Papo and Grammy. One funny conversation we had...Mommy: "Who are Elmo's friends?" Cal: "Papo."
