A weekend away and the boys played

This past weekend when I was poolside visiting Aunt Mandy in Phoenix for a wedding shopping extravaganza, little Cal visted Dozer Days in Vancouver. Who had more fun? You might see my smiles, but Cal's look of intense concentration is how he expresses himself in new situations that he finds absolutely fabulous. How else would any little boy feel getting to drive a bulldozer, move gravel on an excavator, dump recycling bins, and wear a hard hat? He even braved being handled by strange men when he was escorted from Alan and Papo to the construction worker waiting to take him for a spin. Dozer Days = a definite hit = a return trip next year (only maybe this time with Mommy)!
