This month we had a grand time visiting Hood River with Papo and Grammy and riding the Polar Express train! The heavy rain turned to snow/sleet upon arrival, making it seem all the more magical and Christmas-like. Cal enjoyed the hot cocoa and carol sing-a-long. Cal danced along! Santa shook his hand and presented him with a bell, which he still cherishes and rings at home. Two days after returning home, Alan handed me a smushed bell he had apparantly run over in the garage. Turns out, Santa had also given Ben a bell, so we were able to keep the accident a secret from Cal. Thanks Papo and Grammy for the memorable outing!
