My Little Apple

Cal's class had their winter gala last night. When Ben and I entered Cal's classroom, Cal escorted us to a seat up front, where we proceeded to watch him spaz out for 10 minutes as parents arrived. He was so excited! I kept thinking, "uh, oh. my kid is THAT kid." But, then he calmed down and began playing with some legos. Then, as kids were putting on their fruit hats and performance time drew near, Cal seemed to get a little stage fright, wanting to go home. His teacher convinced him to join his friend Owen on the wall and he did a great job trying to sing "Apples and Bananas." But, as the video shows, I think he was much more into what I would consider one of his favorite tunes, "Wheels on the Bus." Dad took him out for a celebratory meal at his choice....which was Extreme Pizza. I took Bennie home for rice cereal and bed.
